In this episode of Legal Evolution, we address the modifications to the regulatory framework for hydrocarbons, specifically the mixed development allocations and mixed contracts introduced by the Hydrocarbons Sector Law of March 2025. We analyze the paradigm shift where allocations become the primary framework for exploration and extraction activities, while exploration and extraction contracts will be implemented only in exceptional circumstances.
