Marcela’s most recent work includes, among others, (i) advice Shimtech Industries (UK) in all aspects associated with its investment in Sonora, including the negotiation of the tax and non-tax incentives to be granted by the Government of Sonora, and a long term lease agreement with Propiedades Nelson de Mexicali to establish its facility, (ii) advice of Grupo Industrial Monclova in their joint venture with Manttra Americas Corp., and (iii) advice to various clients with respect to compliance with Mexican privacy and data protection matters in the event of potential data breaches and with respect to their ordinary compliance review.She earned her law degree from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico.
