Mexico can become the center of entrepreneurship and innovation in the region of the Cannabis industry, which translates into economic growth and business opportunity for our country.
Since 2017, the applicable legal provisions for the use of Cannabis for medicinal purposes were reformed. However, it was not until January 12, 2021, that the "Regulation of the General Health Law on Sanitary Control for Production, research, and medicinal use of Cannabis and its pharmacological derivatives,” whose purpose is to regulate, control, promote and monitor the production of raw materials, pharmacological derivatives and medicines derived from Cannabis.
