About the event

During 2019, the cost of the commercial relationship with the Asian giant amounted to 90,000 million dollars and, despite the interruption of international trade caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021, the relationship with China only presented a 9.54% drop. By 2021, the commercial exchange between both countries reached new historical highs with a total amount of 98.963 million
dollars, an increase of 29.71%.

In addition, Foreign Direct Investment from China amounted to 215 million dollars in 2020 and 413 million dollars in 2021, which represents an increase of 92.19%. However, while Chinese imports reach historical figures, Mexican exports amount to only 8.407 million dollars. It is time to balance the balance and boost manufacturing exports and diversify the portfolio of Mexican products that reach the Chinese market.

At this conference, experts will answer these and other questions:

  • Why do business with China?
  • What contractual aspects in China should be taken into account?
  • How to protect the intellectual property of products and brands?
  • What challenges exist in terms of commercial and legal aspects?
