Biography
Juan Carlos has more than 36 years of professional experience in handling individual and collective labor matters.

Due to his important role in the resolution of labor disputes in the mining and automotive industries in Mexico, he is recognized as a leading lawyer nationally and internationally in his area of ​​expertise.

He has participated in several labor disputes of great national impact on behalf of the company. In fact, he has been in charge of two of the five Rapid Response Mechanisms derived from the T-MEC, which makes him the labor lawyer of reference for matters related to unions. He provides advice to multinational companies in the commerce, hospitality and oil industries, among others, confronting the effects of labor legislation in terms of subcontracting and labor regulatory aspects in general. In addition, he has been an architect in the planning and definition of the union strategy of the emerging private oil industry.

He has recently advised several relevant companies in the country to redefine their union strategy considering the challenges of the 2019 labor reform and the T-MEC.

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and has a Specialty in Labor Law, Amparo and Corporate Law of the Universidad Panamericana, in Mexico
