Paola Morales is named a new partner of Santamarina + Steta

In this new position, Paola will continue to strengthen the practice areas in which she specializes and will intensify the Firm's innovation, technology, and diversity initiatives.

Paola has 23 years of professional experience specializing in the practice areas of TMT (telecommunications, media, and technology), electronic commerce, and privacy and data protection.

She has advised multiple international clients in their business implementation in Mexico, as well as national companies and the government. She has also carried out analyses to implement, from a transactional and regulatory point of view, various investments in these sectors.

Regarding electronic commerce, he advises several national and international clients in the structuring and implementation of their platforms and Internet sites for their electronic commerce operations in Mexico, which entails the review, negotiation, and preparation of the terms and applicable conditions.

For the privacy and data protection area, he has dedicated himself to supporting multiple clients with the implementation in their organizations of the applicable legal framework, which includes the analysis, review, preparation, and modification of Privacy Notices, Privacy Policies, preparation contracts between companies and between suppliers so that they comply with the regulations on the matter; as well as Privacy Policies applicable to entities belonging to the same corporate group (including affiliates located abroad) and training on personal data for all types of companies.

Throughout her professional career, Paola has stood out for her role as a mentor to the Firm's associates and interns.
