On November 30, and as part of its 18th anniversary, Appleseed Mexico will hold its annual event to present Pro Bono awards to law firms that provided free legal support to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that requested legal assistance in 2019 and 2020.
The event will be held virtually and will feature the presence of the Mexican Orchestra Director, Alondra de la Parra, who will share with us her vision of leadership and collaborative work to make Mexico a better country.
The following categories of awards will also be presented:
- Pro Bono Merit Recognition
- Pro Bono Career
- Pro Bono Partner
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic preventing the traditional annual event from taking place, the 2019 and 2020 Pro Bono Awards will be presented this year.
For the 2019 edition, the award-winning firm will be Santamarina and Steta SC who will receive the Pro Bono Partner Recognition for dedicating more than 740 hours to Appleseed Mexico Pro Bono projects, thus becoming the firm with the highest number of working hours invested during 2019.
