As part of the actions to promote respect for the human rights of all the people who collaborate at Santamarina + Steta, the Firm continues to encourage efforts in favor of LGBTQ+ diversity.
Thanks to the practices put in place for the promotion and adoption of diversity, we are proud to announce that we have been able to obtain the “Best Places to Work LGBTQ+” certificate from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation is a non-governmental organization that aims to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people by increasing understanding and encouraging the adoption of inclusive policies and practices in workplaces around the world.
The HRC Equidad MX certification allows having an indicator of the commitment of organizations for LGBTQ+ labor inclusion in areas such as:
- Non-Discrimination Policies / Equal Employment Opportunity
- LGBTQ+ organizational competence
- Public commitment
At Santamarina + Steta, we will continue working so that our strategies are increasingly consistent and allow us to continue promoting diversity in the Firm. To achieve this, we announce the creation of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which will be headed by partners Claudia Rodríguez and Guillermo Moreno.
The main objective of this committee will be to build and ensure a work environment with best practices in terms of inclusion and non-discrimination, as well as to promote and defend the human rights of all our collaborators and clients.
