With more than 17 years of professional experience, Guillermo focuses on corporate law, M&A and joint ventures, government procurement, project finance and infrastructure. Also, Guillermo has knowledge in anti-money laundering and terrorism prevention matters. Guillermo represents national and international companies in the acquisition of Mexican companies of several sectors, including auto-parts and tourism.He also advises local and foreign clients in the negotiation and execution of joint ventures, and has participated in financial transactions, such as debt restructuring and granting of guarantees, representing multinational companies.Recently, he assisted a public company in the water desalinization and distribution sector in several legal aspects related with the development of a sweater desalinization project in Mexico, considered the largest desalinization project in Latin America.He earned his law degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico and an LL.M. from UC Berkeley, USA.
