New guidelines for the conversion of offices into housing in Mexico City

• Conversion is the process of transforming and adapting a property to give it a use other than that for which it was originally designed, with the aim of obtaining better use.
• The new agreement for the conversion of offices into housing expands the criteria that make certain properties applicable for the conversion process and clarifies the procedure to follow to carry out the process.
• This Agreement affects all persons who, due to lack of functionality or disuse, wish to change the land use of their properties to use them for residential purposes.
